Clean your hands often (taken from the CDC):

Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.  If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry.  Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands. Stay at home and away from others if you are feeling ill.

(RSGC: We have alcohol and alcohol wipes in our office for your use.)

Use cough and sneeze etiquette:

Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue. Dispose of used tissues in the garbage and wash your hands or use an alcohol-based hand rub immediately after.  If you don’t have a tissue, cough and sneeze into your elbow, not your hand.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands. Clean and disinfect

We will continue to clean and disinfect tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, faucets, and sinks. The office has high-grade disinfectant and alcohol (70%).

For anyone who has traveled outside of Atlantic Canada or has been in contact with anyone who might have been exposed:
